[Our Name]
Our duo name consists of two Japanese words.
Hana-花: Flower, also beauty of arts (from 風姿花伝-Fushi Kaden*)
Hibiki-響: Resonate
*風姿花伝: Fushi Kaden' is a 15th century text by Zeami on Noh theatre. However, the work has a wider appeal as a philosophical treatise on the nature of art in general. In this text, the word Hana is used meaning “beauty of arts.”
